Small amount of Russian men
It's generally known, that there are less men in Russia, than women. The statistics shows, that for 100 women there are about 97 men. That means that from every 100 women 3 are compelled to remain lonely for the objective reasons! If consider the problem over regions and in the age section, the picture looks even more sad. Men die earlier, and part of them - at a young age. Men are more subjected to serious diseases where heart diseases stand on the first place. As a result each tenth woman (already as a minimum) at the age of a bit more than 35 in large cities can not find a marriage partner - for only objective reasons of demographic character.
Harmful habits
Russian men have won to themselves the world glory by their impetuous drunkenness. It doesn't mean, that there is no problem of alcoholism in other countries, but such quantity is hardly to be achieved. Usage of alcoholic drinks is one of few aspects where we have managed to catch up and overtake America. In Russia if the husband does not drink - he is already almost some kind of an angel, only without wings; even at full absence of other advantages to have the non-drinking husband is considered to be a rare luck.
In addition to drunkenness, Rusian men have many other "lovely" features - laziness, inconstancy, absence of aspiration to self-development - everything that Russian ladies describe as "Russian men are awful".
The economic situation
Certainly, Russian standard of living differs from western one, and, unfortunately, not in the best side. No more comments.
Nobody can accuse Russian ladies of the fact that they search easy life. It is absolutely NORMAL - to wish good life. Abnormal is to bear with monotonous vegetation. Ladies are not obliged to remain lonely or to connect the life with someone came across. And Russian ladies do not "betray" Russia at all, searching for the husband abroad. Each person has the right to be happy and to have worthy life.
