Young russian brides marry more often in comparison with their foreign contemporaries. Most recent researches show the visible decrease of the marriage age in Russia. In the beginning of the 90s years it was common to marry at 21,7 years for women and 23,8 years for men. It is one of the lowest parameters in Europe. The explosion of the sexual revolution in the beginning of 90s has resulted in the changes the family creation process. The youth aspiration to sexual independence has encountered the settled stereotypes of marriage behavior, and this independence has turned back for many as a traditional marriage. However the marriage of young couples has changed in comparison with the previous generations. The spiritual side was pushed into the background, and now in modern mutual family relations the material aspect prevails. Many young pairs today realize, that material independence is necessary for creation of their own house. The desire to receive is as much pleasure as possible, moneymaking and material benefits became the purpose for many young families.
