Someone would say that this is a typically patriarchal point of view. But it was God who arranged that happiness, by which people imply a harmonious life first of all, is to be found only within a family. A Christian single is subject to passions and worries, has neither harmony nor rest. Lonely people are only half-happy at best.
That is why a man and a woman should be together. Any doctrine directed against marriage is a heresy. The independence of women is not envisaged in God's plan. Attracted to her husband, the woman puts up with his domination, which leads to order and peace in the family. God seems to be saying to the woman: if you do not obey your husband, you will be doomed to constant struggle for your rights, but you would lose this struggle, even if you win...
The Christian single women longing for independence contradict the main God's principle: the person could not be independent. People depend on God. The man obeys Christ, and his wife obeys her husband. In submission to Christ one should not see violence, but God's love leading to life eternal. So isn't the submission of wife to her husband connected to God's love?
If the woman does not wish to submit to the order established by the God, she rises against men. Therefore the feminists do not just fight for equality, but also assert their religion of independence from God's world order. Everything in the world is relative, they say. The establishments of God are relative too, the laws and rules which appeared several thousand years ago cannot be used anymore. But God punishes for such statements both feminists and the society that listens to them.
Some feministic singles go even further: they completely reject the God of men. They rewrite the Bible, aspiring to remove all male characteristics of God, replacing them with so-called neutral descriptions. It is easy to imagine what happens after such manipulations with the Bible: instead of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob we have a unisex deity of ancient cults.
