The modern world is full of those whose rights are violated. Among them are beggars, the persecuted, the hungry, victims of wars, violence and exploitation; those to whose destinies everyone is indifferent; those who have very little in terms of wealth and are deprived even of the vital things.
There is also other category of people: the well-off. In the eyes of others they look "successful", but in reality they are lonely prisoners of their own egoistic desires. Tired of life, they bear the heavy burden of problems, pressure and fear.
Sometimes you can also meet Christian singles who smile while their soul hurts; those who were swallowed up by emptiness; those who suffer from pain, guilt, bitterness and condemnation; those who repent of what they have done or fear the future. The world is full of lonely and despaired people.
I recollect the words of one of the old songs by the Beatles: "All the lonely people - Where do they all come from?" I know where they come from: they are a result of an egoistic lifestyle.
All lonely people - the unfortunate ones and the ones who lost hope - are a product of the society, in which each person looks only for a satisfaction of his own needs. Such a society and a wrong lifestyle leads to lonely people. Christian singles living in loneliness are a result of applying the devil's doctrine "each to his own" and "do what you want". Lonely hearts are a product of the society which has forgotten its Creator. They are victims, a sad result of the way of life which is not based on love.
